Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

Think H3-based layers, isochrones, geo filters, and simulation workflows that logistics operators run daily.

Spatial data is genuinely hard to work with because geometry works differently from data in rows and columns. Points, lines, polygons, and their relationships force real computation, such as overlap, containment distance, indexing, etc. Then, visualization adds another layer. The job is done only when the map loads quickly and remains smooth as data and interactions scale. • Turn complex spatial outputs into intuitive interactions
• Build the map first analytics features in React/TS, from idea to production
• Keep the UI fast with performant rendering, caching, and virtualization
• Work closely with backend and data teams on API contracts that make spatial workflows smooth
• Raise engineering quality through code reviews, testing, and clear patterns in the codebase
• Take ownership of parts of the product and drive them end-to-end
• Mentor engineers, fostering technical growth and team collaboration.

• Bring a great sense of ownership
• Possess a robust understanding of client-side performance optimizations and modern browser capabilities.
• Have very strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and React.
• Have experience and interest in the broader front-end ecosystem, including build tools, testing frameworks, and state management libraries
• Seek to master the entire system lifecycle, from architectural vision to detailed implementation and deployment.
• Champion automation and testing to the extent that war rooms become obsolete.
• Have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Additionally, it would be advantageous to have experience in a fast-scaling B2B SaaS environment.

Mily Technologies is a Munich-based startup developing vertical SaaS solutions to help parcel and postal operators solve last-mile delivery challenges.
